The confidence demonstrated by Jesus Christ and those who walked closely with God—Joshua, Caleb, David, Daniel, Jonathan, Moses, and Joseph—reveals that true confidence is not rooted in personality, status, or circumstance, but in revelation, relationship, and alignment with God. This confidence begins with revelation: a deep, personal knowing of who God is. Jesus walked in unwavering authority because of His oneness with the Father, declaring, “I and My Father are one” (John 10:30), and “The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do” (John 5:19). Likewise, Moses’ encounter with God transformed his identity when he was sent with the authority of “I AM” (Exodus 3:14), and Daniel’s consistent devotion anchored him in the presence of God despite opposition (Daniel 6:10). This reveals that confidence is born not from self-awareness, but from God-awareness.
