BIBLE STUDY LESSON: Why God Does Not Desire His Children to Be Poor

God does not desire His children to live in poverty. Throughout Scripture, poverty is never portrayed as God’s covenant design, but as a condition associated with oppression, injustice, disobedience, lack of wisdom, or broken systems. God consistently reveals Himself as a Provider and Defender, and He openly declares His pleasure in the well-being and prosperity of His servants (Psalm 35:27).
